I'm Kourosh Hosseini — a former professional soccer player turned sports medicine specialist, corrective exercise coach, and personal trainer, based in Lake Forest, CA.
My path here started with an injury, not a classroom. A herniated disc nearly ended my career. Rather than surgery, I chose to heal through corrective movement — and it worked. That recovery reshaped how I look at every client who walks in with pain, dysfunction, or an injury: not as something to mask, but something to actually solve.
Today, I run a private clinical office alongside my gym, combining hands-on bodywork — deep tissue massage, cupping, posture correction — with structured, evidence-based training. Every plan starts with a real assessment, not a generic program off the shelf.
Committed to Root-Cause Care
What I Bring
Years of hands-on clinical and coaching experience, working with clients recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, and building long-term strength. My background as a professional athlete means I understand performance from the inside — not just the theory, but what it actually takes to compete, get hurt, and come back stronger.
I built Kur Athletx, my own coaching app, to bring that same level of structure and attention to clients training with me online — daily tracking, video form checks, and a real coach reviewing your progress every week.
What I Believe
- Performance without recovery breaks down.
- Technique comes before intensity.
- Strength, mobility, and longevity have to progress together — not one at the expense of the others.
- Results should be measurable, not just promised.
- The goal isn't a quick fix. It's a fix that lasts.
